However, in order to achieve this it was necessary to develop tiny, solid-state sensors that would operate unattended for long periods and withstand challenging conditions inside water pipes.
The ability of the Intellisonde™ to provide accurate, continuous water quality monitoring data with a very low maintenance requirement has proved to be highly valuable in a range of applications. These include:
- Drinking water
- Rivers
- Final effluent
- Process water
Intellisondes™ are being used to monitor water quality by a wide variety of customers: water and wastewater utilities, food and beverage, industrial processes, cooling towers, homeland security, swimming pools, hospitals and many others.
